Community & Future

We believe in Magento and actively invest in the community and the future of the platform

Why Community Matters

We love working with Magento. Not only because we think it's a great platform for many e-commerce stores, but also because of something that makes it even better: the community around it. The Magento community is one of the strongest in the e-commerce world, with developers, agencies, and merchants who share knowledge and help each other grow.

We believe not only in the present of Magento, but especially in its future. And these are not just words, we actively invest in that future in multiple ways.

Our Community Involvement

Mage-OS Board Member

We are a board member of Mage-OS. This is a community-driven fork of Magento Open Source, founded to secure the future of the platform. As a board member, we actively help steer the direction and development of Mage-OS, thereby directly contributing to the future of Magento.

Mage-OS ensures that Magento Open Source has an independent, community-driven future, regardless of what happens with Adobe. It's our way of investing in the sustainability of the platform we work with daily.

MageDispatch Newsletter

We run MageDispatch, a bi-weekly newsletter for Magento developers. Here we share the latest news, extensions, tutorials, tips, and everything relevant to the Magento development community. It is our way of sharing knowledge and keeping the community up-to-date with what is happening in the ecosystem.

MageDispatch reaches hundreds of Magento developers worldwide and helps them stay informed about new developments, best practices, and interesting resources.

Knowledge Sharing

We actively share knowledge through:

  • Training & Workshops: We regularly provide training on testable code, end-to-end testing, and best practices

  • Conference Presentations: We speak at Magento and e-commerce conferences about testing, checkout optimization, and modern development practices

  • Blog Posts & Tutorials: We regularly write about our experiences and learnings

  • Open Source Contributions: We contribute to Magento Open Source and Mage-OS development

  • Hackathons: We organize hackathons to bring developers together and work on innovative solutions

  • Event Organization: We are involved in organizing the Mage Unconference and Meet Magento NL to bring the community together

Why We Do This

We invest in the Magento community because we believe in the platform and in the power of collaboration. A strong community means better extensions, more shared knowledge, higher quality standards, and ultimately better webshops for merchants.

By actively contributing, whether through Mage-OS board membership, MageDispatch, or knowledge sharing, we not only help others but make the entire ecosystem stronger. And a stronger ecosystem means better results for everyone working with Magento.

Believing in the Future

Our involvement with Mage-OS is perhaps the strongest proof of our belief in the future of Magento. We not only invest time and knowledge in improving the platform, we actively help determine its direction. That is our commitment to a sustainable, community-driven future for Magento.
